tahidromos
A development mail server that can hold a conversation.
Mailpit and MailHog are sinks: mail goes in and never comes out, so you cannot reply to it and cannot test a thread. tahidromos is a real mail server — send a message, read it over IMAP, reply, forward it, reply to the forward, and watch the RFC 5322 chain build. It is written from scratch on the Python standard library, runs as one container with no login, and nothing it sends can reach the internet.
